The Honorary Title
Scream And Light Up The Sky

What does moderately distorted guitars, Salvation Army men’s wear, and break up inspired lyrics have in common? The members of The Honorary Title in their latest release Scream And Light Up The Sky employ all of these elements, and many more.

The Brooklyn based emo rock quartet’s newest release is a well-crafted musical endeavor. Every single track is lyrically vivid, full of gripping language and story telling. The instrumentation is also creative. The guitars are a blend of catchy rhythms and perfectly placed riffs. The indie style drums constantly flow with the music yet they never feel rushed or make the music lag.

In a time where bands are as prevalent as opinions about politics, The Honorary Title has made themselves a place in the scene. Scream and Light Up The Sky is a track by track documentation of each element of the album. From vocals and guitars to drums and bass, each instrument is well produced to create a blending of all elements into one voice that carries within it emotion, passion, and pride.
