Hardcore. Plain, simple, and far from weak. I get the feeling after a good listen that these guys would kick in a nun’s teeth if she looked at them wrong. OK, well maybe not that hardcore, but damn close. Even the slower tunes drive hard with unrivaled intensity. The inside cover art is great. Someone spent a lot of time on that. I am giving serious consideration to framing it (no lie.)

I think that if the Ramones and Danzig had to adopt a child Modern Life is War would have been their only (in)sane choice. If attitude is everything these guys have been weighed and measured and found not wanting. If you have the balls to write a song entitled “F**k the Sex Pistols”. I think you have mastered the art of hardcore attitude, and they can back that up with one hell of an album.

Key Tracks: Stagger Lee, Screaming at the Moon, The Motorcycle Boy Reigns.
