It's weird and amazing to me that Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American is 15 years old this week. That record was so powerful and taught so many of us who emo jams could indeed be pop songs. Also having a birthday is Close Quarters Coalition who turns two. Crystal Lake TX's track "Dwell" is a song on the young label continuing in the tradition of Jimmy Eat World. It's a gentle dreamy emo pop gem that clocks in at just under two minutes and is just perfect in its length. If this jam doesn't get you excited for Fake Emo Revival I don't know what will. Congrats to everyone mentioned here buy especially to Crystal Lake TX for this amazing job they've done.
